Dear Readers
I do apologize if I haven’t responded to any emails you may have sent me in reply to my articles on Substack.
If you are commenting on an article, I would love you to use the Comment link that you will find at the foot of the article. This will really help me, as my readers seem to be very shy of leaving comments and questions! I do understand if the content is sometimes shocking, but it would be so nice to get a dialogue going in the comments sections, especially if you have further information to contribute, or want to point out a broken link, etc.
News
The section formerly known as “Chat with Linda” has now been renamed “The News (Uncensored!)” That is probably a better name for it anyway. Unfortunately Substack doesn’t have a system to notify you when the section has been updated, but if you follow or favorite me (and get new post notifications) on Facebook or Twitter, I will link to each News update there so that you won’t miss it. Today’s update is very interesting.
Articles
My health articles now have a paywall so only paid subscribers can read the whole thing. Paid subscribers can also read my Wednesday “Extras for Paid Subscribers” which share cool hacks and ideas that I have curated for you. Eg. Make Your Own Supplements, and Useful Garden Hacks. This week’s Extra will be on how to use water for frequency healing—a bit like homeopathy.
In my Recipes section there are now more than 30 whole-food, plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free recipes, all of which I use myself. Eating like this is really the best way to avoid getting on the pharmaceutical treadmill that most people find themselves on after middle age. Only a couple of days ago I was watching a TV program called “The Bad Skin Clinic”. A poor, unfortunate man was suffering from a maddening itchy rash over his entire body. Having had this for three years, and various drug treatments not working, he was at his wits’ end. The dermatologist diagnosed the condition with a couple of fancy names but it was not till several weeks later that she admitted the rash was triggered by the patient’s diabetes medication. It disappeared when this was changed.
These stories make me SO angry. It’s bad enough that this was a side effect, but much, much worse that the GP didn’t look up the side effects when the patient complained for three years about itching that was literally making him gouge out his skin.
Once again, thank you so much to my readers who are supporting me. If you’re thinking of getting a subscription to access my paid content, you can use this link
With blessings and good wishes
Linda
